- Who am I? Perhaps I could be described as a wild, welsh, butterfly, lost in France. Generally searching for something with husband, four children and dog in tow. I am now equally bad in three languages, Welsh, English and French. Living on the Spanish border just adds to the confusion. Apart from my family, friends and dog, my greatest loves are singing and the beauty of nature. I love to find the beauty in others; it’s too easy to spot the negative.

We're only renovating and extending an unexciting 70s house and it's stressy enough. Have done 3 before (2x Grade 2) but this is the worst, and the last and where we plan to see out the next 20 years! If we make it through the incipient heartattacks threatened every day en route. Gets worse before it gets better. The mud, the rain, the sand. Keep blogging!!
Just saying hi! We missed you at our Welsh/Shropshire lunch on Thursday. Don't know how often you get back but do know you are a friend of bodran's. Hope to get to meet you sometime!

My sister in law is renovating in France, has been for the last six years or so. She doesn't seem much further forward either! It's those elusive builders, plumbers, roofers etc...

We've done 5 then we built this from scratch!......a year? Nothing, darling.....
